This two piece “Press Art” canvas work was created by Joseph exclusively for The Hollywood Burlesque Festival and features Miss Hollywood Burlesque 2013, Sheila Starr Siani. They measure 3×3 and 3×4 and are signed by the artist.
In October 2013, Joseph De Sanze developed his new and exciting project, called “Press Art.” He decided to hire female models, paint on their bodies and press canvas against them to create a new style of abstract painting.
The Hollywood Burlesque Festival showcases talent from around the world in the heart of Hollywood. This four day event consists of shows, classes, workshops, and a competition for titles including the top crowned awards of Miss & Mister Hollywood Burlesque. The 2015 festival competition & showcases run August 14th – 16th at the historic Mayflower Club and concludes with a VIP Closing Party on August 17th at the legendary Three Clubs.
